Kim Phúc
Entrepreneurship in health care, continuingly searching for better quality in care, together with our clients and other experts, has
inspired us to invite Mrs. Kim Phúc as our guest for our congress - "5 Years hict: A Journey To Optimised Health Care".
Mrs. Kim Phúc has from her experience as a victim from the Vietnam War turned things around to the point where she has become an
example for us in 'entrepreneurship in health care' and in change management.
The 'Kim Foundation' helps children who are war victims through private care organisations. hict has engaged itself to support this initiative. Mrs. Kim Phúc has a very inspiring exposition on forgivingness and peace, especially when she falls back on her own experiences. Reason enough for hict to be honoured by her presence at our congress as the keynote speaker.
She shares the story of her incredible journey, her survival of the napalm attack, the lessons she learned along the way. She talks
about her escape to freedom, how she arrived at forgiveness, the need for peace and reconciliation.
There is a compelling new section on how Kim has learned to cope with pain, which she still suffers in her mid-forties. This will
be of particular interest to health care professionals. Kim is a charismatic speaker who shares her story with a warmth that truly
touches audiences.
