Industry manager healthcare suppliers

You are capable of supporting hict's growth by introducing new customers and maintaining the existing client contracts within our market sector healthcare suppliers. The focus here lies on the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry.

Your responsibilities

You are capable of supporting hict's growth by introducing new customers and maintaining the existing client contracts within our market sector healthcare suppliers. The focus here lies on the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry.

You define and manage an efficient market strategy and you know how to stand out in an alert and creative way as an interlocutor and how to convert your business approach into concrete sales results.

You prospect, you analyse specific needs at the customer, you give specified advice and you translate the customer's question to personal and qualitative solutions. A trustful relationship with the client is very important.

Your knowledge of and experience in healthcare (processes) allow you to set up an implementation plan and, if needed, to carry out (a part of) the project implementation. For this you will work with the domain managers.

You advise and support the project team and the customer with specific domain knowledge.

You report to the general direction.

Your profile

You have, preferably, a Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent by experience.

  • You have a 10 years experience in service sales in healthcare and/or healthcare products with complex sales processes.
  • You know the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry and its products to the core.
  • Experience in project-based assignments and/or project management is an asset.
  • You are a born communicator, a good listener and perfectly capable of understanding and analysing the customer's needs and translate them to a project team.
  • You dispose of problem-solving skills.
  • You are passionate about your job, entrepreneurial and result-driven.
  • You like challenging objectives and taking initiative.
  • You dispose of the needed competences to fulfil a coaching role based on your domain knowledge and to share your knowledge with other people.
  • You are eager to learn and you keep your knowledge up-to-date.
  • You are socially conscious and you can perfectly express yourself in Dutch, English and French.
  • You work structured, well organised and you are proactive.
  • You are client and service-oriented and quality is very important for you.
  • You have a healthy dose of strategic & economic understanding and allround IT skills.
  • You are flexible. You will work in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. Later on possibility to participate in international contacts.
