Eli Lilly is a pharmaceutical company that seeks to improve medicine and contribute to important therapeutical developments to allow everyone to live healthier and longer. Lilly Belgium has approximately 220 employees who cover different activities in order to support the branch.

hict was asked to verify which was the best possible technology-supported communication platform for both the parties, with a view to improving the communication between the general practitioner and the psychiatrist.

Approach

hict carried out a feasibility study, during which three technological communication platforms were tested:

• an entirely web-based system; 
• a system based on existing technology (e.g. Medibridge); 
• a mix of both. 

 Result

A clear image of the pros and cons of the different options and this based on the needs and expectations of the users.
