hict was asked to carry out a study for the ESP related processes from department to pharmacy.
Approach
For the ZNA group (Ziekenhuis Netwerk Antwerpen - Hospital Network Antwerp) all pharmacy processes were mapped for five hospital satellites (Middelheim, Stuivenberg, Sint-Erasmus, Sint-Elisabeth and Jan Palfijn) concerning the handling of ESP.
Result
Based on the analyses an improvement proposition was formulated in the light of the further integration of the different satellites within the ZNA group.
