In order to strengthen our team and prepare hict for the many opportunities and challenges in 2011 and beyond, we are pleased to announce that Peter Tans has joined our organisation as of January and Rik Van Oost will join our organisation as of February.
As a growing consulting organisation in the healthcare market, hict chose to expand the team of managers with 2 experienced people:
Peter has a broad management experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He executed several management jobs throughout Europe during the past 20 years. He studied Commercial Engineering at the Hasselt University and completed his education with an MBA at the Catholic University of Leuven.
In his new role as Industry Manager Healthcare Suppliers, Peter will work closely together with the domain managers and focus on the development and the commercial support of the ‘healthcare suppliers’’ segment in order to continue to deliver qualitative and tailor made solutions to our customers.

Rik has 28 years experience in managing ICT service companies and in interim management directing large projects and ICT departments. He studied IT at the Karel de Grote-Hogeschool Antwerp and Advanced Management at Vlerick Gent Management School. Rik worked for major ICT organisations and was CEO of 2 international ICT companies in Belgium.
In his new role as Healthcare ICT Manager, Rik will work closely together with the other domain managers and focus on the development and the commercial support of the ‘healthcare providers‘ and ‘suppliers’ segments.
Rik: “As the domain manager for the ICT solutions, I want to grow this business line for hict, both national and international. It is my goal to participate in the projects and to leverage my ICT and project management knowledge in the healthcare and hospital market. ”
