Marco van Alderwegen, Director hict Netherlands

The First of September, Marco van Alderwegen will join hict bv as director. Along with Charles Laurey, he wants to extend hict bv as a high-quality and specialised consultancy company for the Dutch healthcare market.

Marco van Alderwegen has worked two years as an independent consultant and interim manager for the healthcare market. Before his job as a consultant, he has worked 10 years as the director of Vierstroom, a midsized company for social care and living.

Before his job as director, he worked for the “Landelijke vereniging voor Thuiszorg” (homecare) (LVT, now ActiZ) and various other healthcare organisations.

He has gained experience in the primary process as a nurse in various levels of healthcare.

Van Alderwegen will keep on working as a consultant and interim manager through hict in the VVT, GGZ and first level healthcare

He has lots of expertise in collaborative care networks, optimisation primary process, empowerment management and professionals, change management, innovation projects and management.

Van Alderwegen will continue the management of ELS. So far, Marco has more than 24 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
